We ensure that Shxw'ōwhámel First Nation members have the best quality of life possible by meeting the community’s housing and infrastructure needs.
Maintain various aspects of the building such as the environmental system, plumbing, irrigation system, electrical, security monitoring, solar system and ground keeping
Knowledge in identifying and trouble shooting issues within systems
Work alongside various trades past and present when they are needed here at the Nation
Develop and schedule various maintenance tasks as required within the building
Inspect the various systems within the building for any improvements and upkeep

Shxw’ōwhámél has 30 houses on-reserve. These include 24 single family houses and 3 duplexes (6 dwelling units). There are plans to construct new houses in a 9 lot subdivision that has been developed. There are also opportunities to develop housing along St. Elmo Road given the availability of existing water infrastructure.
Our goal is to ensure that there is an adequate supply of quality houses available to meet the needs of membership.
